Steve Sands - Churchwood Fisheries, Brentwood, Essex.
Steve has been carp fishing for many years and has gained wealth of knowledge during which time he has fished in some far away locations.
Due to his day job, Steve had the chance to work in Japan for a few years. During his time in Japan he managed to find time to go in search and catch some of the powerful, hard fighting Black carp which run in excess of 100lbs. Steve even had regular carp fishing articles published in Japanese fishing magazines.
On his return to the UK he purchased Churchwood Fisheries in Brentwood, which he has transformed into one of the most traquil fisheries to spend a carp fishing session.
Steve has high expectations of a bait which, to be honest is a good thing as it proves just how much he cares for the fish in his complex. It has been our job over the years to apply our knowledge of bait and fish health to supply Steve with the healthiest and most nutrituous source of food we can in a boilie form. The feedback we receive from Steve and through his customers fishing his lakes does not get anymore direct than that. Sometimes the ajustments to the baits may only be as small as a few drops extra of an essential oil per kilo or cooking them for an extra 30 seconds, it shows how critical a successful bait can be.

Tim has been involved with CW Baits from the start which was roughly the same time as Tim brought out his first groundbreaking book, Carp Bait Secrets. Tim doesnt just talk bait, everything he writes about in his books and articles is backed up by an envious string of very big and hard to catch UK carp and catfish, you cant get better proof that.
Tim is involved in new potential product testing, we source samples of new poducts, Tim then analyses bases on extensive research and experience. If the products tick all the boxes we then push them to the next stage and eventually, providing they stand up to all of the testing stages, they make production.
