various parts of the globe to ensure only the freshest, highest
grade products are used at all times. Due to the nature of our business
we do buy direct from the processing plants where possible for an
even consistency. This enables us to use higher than normal levels
of natural additives like Hydrolysed Salmon Extract, High PC fractioned
Lecithin's and Pure Triple Filtered Salmon Oil. All the additives
are noted for their superior fish catching abilities and at the
high inclusion rates, they prove to be quite simply Awesome!
All the carp and catfish bait additives are supplied in small
handy containers and can also be sold in bulk 5-10ltr if required.
Original
Minamino Compound Liquid -
A top carp bait liquid additive which will supply a complete spectrum
of amino acids. Minanamino has been used for many years and has
proved a highly beneficial additive to use in high grade carp bait
design. Minamino has a natural Raspberry Flavour added which gives
it its unique aroma, it is also very sweet and sugary. Used at various
levels but as a general rule 25ml/ 6 large eggs is a good starting
point. To really get the most out of minamino we suggest you go
much higher and add 50-100ml/kg or even soak your boilies in minamino
prior to freezing and then again after freezing.
Pure
Liquid Liver Extract -
Another great fish catching additive which supplies various essential
amino acidsincluding lysine to a quality bait. Liver extract liquid
has a meaty type smell and compliments any savoury or fishy type
carp fishing bait. Used at 25ml/kg but can also be used at higher
levels if required to give things a real boost. Liver extract liquid
can also be used as a a very effective bait soak, just add a teaspoon
of salt and half a teaspoon of betaine to 100ml of liver liquid.
Place a few hookbaits in a small plastic bag, poor on a little of
the liver soak mix and use during your fishing session. Any left
over baits can be frozen and used next time.
Hydrolysed
Salmon Extract Liquid -
Due to the advances in technology of the processing plants and commercial
machinery there are some very effective liquid and powdered additives
entering the market place. One advance is the introduction of hydrolysates
which make super fish catching products. They form a highly digestible
and nutrient rich source of attraction to our carp baits. Only low
temperatures are used in the production of the hydrolysed salmon
protein so it takes on no heat damage or structure altering effects.
The end result is a product which is 97% digestible and carries
a very impressive range of essential amino acids, vitamins and trace
elements. Hydrolysed salmon protein can be used in boilies at a
rate of 50ml/kg and can be used direct from the pot as an outstanding
highly attractive glug. The salmon extract is water soluble but
of a thicker consistancy than L030 so will stay on the bait for
longer periods, an advantage in higher water temperatures.
L030
Fish Protein Liquid -
Liquid fish protein produced from the processing of white fish.
Used in the food industry as a natural fish flavour and flavour
enhancer. Makes an excellent carp and catfish bait additive which
not only provides a depth to the flavour profile but also adds to
the amino acid profile of your bait. L zero 30 can also be used
direct from the pot as an outstanding fish attracting glug which
is very water soluble in all water temperatures.
Liquid
Soya Lecithin -
Lecithins can be added to a bait to help emulsify oils and fats.
This also helps the fish to utilise the energy more efficiently
by making the oils easier to digest. This form of lecithin we supply
is a hydrolysed version which is a very high grade and has a high
PC content. A thick treacle like liquid which is used in a base
mix at 10-30ml/kg. Lecithin has been proven to make fish feeds more
digestible to fish which in turn aids attraction.
Pure
Scottish Salmon Oil -
Salmon oil is one of the best ways to improve the profile of a carp
bait. It provides a wide range of nutrients and omega-3 and omega-6
fatty acids. Our Salmon oil is supplied to us direct from the processing
plant which is why we can sell this product at trade prices. This
bait additive salmon oil is the perfect economical way to give your
baits a boost during the summer months. Salmon oil can also be used
as a pellet soak, stick mix additive and even as a pike attractor.
Use at 2-4ml/ large egg in boilie mixes depending on other ingredients
used.
Thaumatin
-
A protein sweetener 2000x sweeter than standard sugar. Talin is
the marketed name for the natural product called Thaumatin and Thaumatin
B. Thaumatin is produced by extracting the protein from the Katemfe
Fruit (The fruit from an african plant), the end product is a very
sweet protein which is reported to be up to 1000s of times sweeter
than sucros and has a liqurice type flavour. Thaumatin is used in
the food and beverage industry as a sweetener and taste modifier
which has no bitter aftertaste. Thaumatin lends itself perfectly
to the carp bait market as it is natural, it has a very rounded
sweetness with no bitter aftertaste and enhances the natural flavours
within the bait. The liquid thaumatin we supply is a very high strength
ready to use liquid and is used at just 1ml/kg of base mix (9 large
eggs).
N-Butyric
Acid -
An organic acid which has the smell of rancid butter or sick! Not
the best of smelling but its effectiveness makes up for the terrible
smell. N-Butyric acid is from the carbolx------acids and is naturally
found in rotting flesh, rancid butter, parmasan cheese and human
sick. The acid is highly water soluble and only tiny amounts are
needed to make a huge difference in a carp or catfish bait. Some
of the best flavours available to the carp fisherman are beleived
to contain N-Butyric acid which could well be why they are so effective.
Used at a rate of 1-5drops/kg in boilie mixes and higher levels
in boosted hookbaits. Some anglers have reported using this acid
as a neat bait soak during winter conditions, we have not tried
this and recomend you follow the suggested dosage levels. Gloves
must be worn when using this product as it is an acid and will burn.
CSL
Liquid -
Corn Steep Liquor ( CSL ) is produced from fermenting corn grains.
A proven fish attractor and one which has been used for many years
with a high levels of success. Available in many forms depending
on the processing and origin of the product. It can range from a
watery sharp acidy smelling type liquid to a thick almost treacle
like sweet liquid. All forms of CSL appear to make a big difference
when used in carp baits so they are worth the inclusion. Use around
25-40ml/kg in base mixes.
Tiger
Nut Extract -
Tigernuts have been an awesome carp bait for years and have caught
fish from all over the globe. Tigernut extract is produced by taking
the whole nut and using a special process which involves rehydrating
the nuts with water, extraction of the liquid and tigernut jiuces.
Then sugar is added and another mechanical process reduces the water
content to form the tigernut extract. Tigernut extract makes an
excellent additive to boilies but also works wonders when used in
stick mixes and spod soups as it clouds the water with a milky sweetness
the carp will find highly attractive. Use around 30ml/kg in boilies
or as much as is required when using to dampen stick mixes.
Hydrolysed
Earthworm Protein ( HEP Liquid ) -
We all know the effectiveness of worms when it comes to fishing
and have wondered how they could be incorporated into a bait suitable
for carp fishing. Well, HEP liquid is produced from 100% earthworms
which have gone through a specialised process to form a protein
hydrolysate liquid. This liquid is the worm protein in its purist
form which is packed full of all the goodness and attraction in
an earthworm. The uses for this product are endless but its main
advantage is as a glug or as a groundbait additive. Simply place
a few hookbaits in a pot, pour on a little HEP liquid and allow
it to soak into the outer skin of the hookbaits. As this liquid
is so enzyme active it will quickly start to break the protein of
your hookbaits down, pre digesting them and making the bait highly
attractive to fish. As the protein breaks down the free amino acids
they will leach out into the surrounding water pulling the fish
into your swim. Similar products have been marketed to the angling
word ( Ace worm liquid, SBS Liquid Lobworm etc ) but this is the
original HEP liquid made from natural earthworms buy the marine
biologist who first brought it to the angling world many years ago,
no synthetic flavours or enhancers have been used with this liquid
earthworm protein. Packed full of natural attraction and essential
amino acids.
